I meet with my clients face-to-face in a private, confidential manner. Our work begins with a Phase Inventory. I carefully review your current phase to find out where you are, where you want to go, what you want to leave behind, and how you hope to get there. This typically lasts 90 minutes. Based on your Inventory, I will provide you with a Transition Plan designed to help you move to the next phase. Transition Plans may be standard (8-12 sessions); brief (4-6 sessions); or extended (more than 12 sessions), depending on your needs and situation. At all times, you are involved in shaping the course of your transition.
Sessions typically last one hour. They are active in nature and are solution-focused. Sessions begin by checking your progress, identifying what is working and what is not; identifying roadblocks from the past or present; learning new management skills; and then setting goals for moving forward. Homework is almost always assigned between sessions to keep you progressing. All clients are handled discreetly, with utmost professionalism.
